Lunden Stallings has apologized after a series of racist tweets resurfaced shortly after she got married to Olivia Bennett.

Stallings, 26, addressed the situation in avideo posted on social mediaTuesday, just days after the TikTok couple — known for their “outfit of the day,” “day in the life” and wedding planning videos —tied the knot in Georgia.

Shortly after the wedding, several posts were shared on Reddit that appeared to feature screenshots of tweets posted to Lunden’s account in the early 2010s that included a racial slur.

Responding to the backlash, Stallings said she was “completely and utterly disgusted and ashamed."

“I don’t want people to think that I am just sweeping this under the rug or that it’s something I’m not going to address or don’t want to address because I do want to address it,” she said in a TikTok story posted on thecouple’s account. “That’s not who I am."

The TikToker went on to say she has “grown” a lot as a person over the last several years and “would never ever think about saying those things” again.

“It’s truly just, like, a really unfortunate and disgusting and ignorant mistake that you made as a teenager,” added Bennett.

“You were a kid and you were ignorant and it was wrong and shameful, and it’s so embarrassing,” Bennett continued. “And I think that’s why you wanted to get rid of them, because that’s not a reflection of your character and how I know you and how so many people know you.”

Stallings said both she and Bennett had a “private conversation” about the matter, in which she apologized and took full accountability.

She added that she’s open to a dialogue with others and encouraged those who want to have a conversation with her about the matter to reach out via her direct messages.

“I just want everyone to know, even the ones that don’t know, that I am sorry,” she told fans.

As of Wednesday, there is no video addressing the situation on the couple’s TikTok account, which has ignited additional backlash, according toThe New York Post.
