During Thursday’s Q&A Stewart doubled down on the importance of staying busy. Her strategy for success, she said, hinges on not being “afraid of hard work, not to be afraid of filling your day. Not to be afraid of experimenting new things, planting a new kind of tree.”

And as Stewart explores different adventuresin her 80s— including aCBD gummy line— she told her N.Y.C. audience, “I like new and different.”

Put simply, it’s the lifestyle guru’s work ethic at play throughout every decision she makes: “I want to get things done,” she says in her MasterClass. “If you are going to choose to be an entrepreneur, hard work is the first thing you have to accept. You can never say that any famous entrepreneur was lazy about anything.”
