At this point in her career, the nameLady Gagais pretty much synonymous with outlandish, unwearable outfits. Whether it’s that divisive meat dress, the towering platform heel-less heels, thatdress composed of decapitated Kermits, or being escorted into the Grammys inside of a giant plastic egg, it seems safe to say the pop star’s closet probably doesn’t look quite like anyone else’s on planet Earth. Although she went through a briefglamour puss phasewhile on tour withTony Bennett, afterbreaking up with her longtime fiancé Taylor Kinney, the singer appears to be turning over a new style leaf, a leaf composed exclusively out of tiny crop tops and even tinier short shorts.
Over the past month or so, Gaga has been spotted non-stop in one iteration of this body-baring look after the next. Most recently, the pop legend stepped out in a head-to-toe look straight out of her latest music video, “Perfect Illusion,” wearing a pair of silver sequin, semi-sheer, frayed tap shorts with a black bra, a grey top cropped to expose just the right amount of under boob, and a very dapper fedora. She’s also clearly found a new favorite set of shades and ankle boots, sporting the same pair of pitch-black circle sunnies and point-toe Chelsea boots almost every time she’s been photographed in public.

This new trend started innocently enough towards the end of August with the “Born This Way” singer casually donning a pair of Daisy Dukes here and they’re paired with a variety of tops, but it soon became clear that this wasn’t just some simple fashion choice, it’s a way of life.
