Each metre it prepares to resign a new movie , Pixar redecorates its Emeryville , Calif. , studio to cope with the root of the film . This year , in anticipation of Monsters University , the studio was transformed into the MU campus , complete with a pupil sofa , cheerleaders , and the legendary Monsters University gate .
We , along with several other fellow member of the printing press , make to visit the pertly transform Pixar campus for “ Freshman Orientation , ” and we snagged some pic of its collegiate accoutrements . As you’re able to see , Sulley and Mike ( who are prospicient - time fix of the Pixar lobby ) receive into the feel , donning college garb and hitting the books .
As visitant leave alone the parking lot and step onto the studio soil , they must first pass through the Monsters University gate . Note the yr in which the college was found .
Out in front of the principal building , scholarly person ball club tables are set up , along with a pair of subject matter control panel daub with student notification .
The Smile Squad was on hand to receive newcomer to campus .
One employee decided to dress up as Ms. Squibbles , mother of Oozma Kappa fraternity member Squishy Squibbles . She ’s have nice eyes .

Inside , the MU sorority and brotherhood banner decorated the paries .
If you face just to the right of the Oozma Kappa streamer ( the green standard ) you may get a modest peek at the Oozma Kappa house , which was replicated upstairs . lamentably , the wall are covered in secret concept art and no photos are permitted up there .
Students could kick up their feet ( and agitate their laptop computer ) in the educatee sofa .
And yes , they really made student IDs .
