Here ’s the first of the Robert Knepper - related newsworthiness for today : the Prison Break star is set to play the case of Antonius in the final two Hunger Games movies . What ’s that ? Peter Jackson explained how they filmed the famous barrel fit and that they really lost three barrel doing it :
We had these big V8 piss - jet things that we ramp up on a roundabout – it was like a theme commons – about as big as this elbow room . And we were worried because we thought , how fast can we actually grind , thread the engine up , because we could sort of wind it up at pep pill and , you know , we ’d best be careful , you acknowledge , because we do n’t know quite , it ’s gon na be irregular and it was . And we had stunt guys doing it , round and pear-shaped , and testing it and everything else , but you bed , these are thespian , they ’re a little bit fragile ( laugh ) . But by the remainder of the first day , the guys were just shout , “ Faster ! quicker ! Get it faster , faster , faster ! ” And we had it on max , we had the thing hold out on maximal pretty quickly .
But one of the things that does n’t really get referenced in the drum is we also did another shoot on a different river in New Zealand , called the Awatere River in the North Island . And that was a shoot where – that ’s a particular river , it ’s like a gorge or a canon , a rocky canyon that stretch about a nautical mile and the right way at the heading of the canon is a large decameter , and four times a day they open up the sluice logic gate and they just let this tremendous flood of pee out , and they countenance it out for 10 minutes and then they exit the gates again . And so we get a muckle of the really variety of hair - raising barrelful stuff in the Awatere . It would be too dangerous to put a stunt guy down . I intend , we did n’t even dare put anyone in the barrel . We sent the barrels down altogether empty and we put the digital Dwarves in afterwards . But that got some of the more spectacular footage , was this – and it was just , it was great because we could set up the cameras when it was teetotal in between the rubbish dump and we set up about six cameras right the path down the duration of the gorge , and then we were there for about three days and every single , you know , four times a day on the dot , these thing would open for 10 minutes . And we had a team up , throwing the barrel in , at the top . And we had another guys – you did n’t know what the infernal region was gon na happen to them , you had just to – they just were filmed on the elbow room down and we had a team at the bottom recovering the barrel . We lose three of them . I mean , to this day , we do n’t know where three of those barrels have sound .

In an interview , Luke Evans discuss his character , Bard the Bowman , and how his office ’s been expanded for the films :

I thought it was very skillful and clever how they made Bard ’s plot line a fiddling bit more active . He ’s a second more vocal than he is in the book , just so that you get to know him a little bit more before he does that awesome thing in the third moving picture , which we do n’t obviously require to spoil . But it ’s a big mass .
. . . He ’s right smart more than just a Bowman . He ’s a syndicate piece and he exist in this incredibly sort of control , corrupted commonwealth , which is Lake - town . And he ’s sort of the people ’s hero in a manner . They see him as one of their own . So when he speaks they sort of hear . And he has probably more deference than the captain of Lake - town , which is why the overlord of Lake - town does what he does in the 2d motion picture and gets him put in prison house because he seems like a troublemaker and he ’s stirring up the mutiny .

While James McAvoy is n’t confirming that he ’ll be in the just - announce X - Men : Apocalypse , he did orient out that he ’s under contract bridge for another 10 - Men film . He also talked about the many unlike Xaviers at gambling in these films :
