Google may be set up a new photosharing service called Photovine . The big M owns photovine.com and just launched a tease page with an iPhone gird by some endearing vines .
harmonize to its FAQ , Photovine is apparently more about connecting with people than sharing photo with your friends . The service let you build a picture ingathering around an idea or theme using photograph submitted by other members of the social meshing . These collections are called vines and include a legend or theme like mountain hiking . The vine will grow when users begin add together their own photo that chip in to this root word .
It ’s “ uber public ” and have in mind for hoi polloi to share their personal experience freely so they can connect with others . Images will be moderated so this exemption of expression does have its limits ( noWeiner - way crotch shot , lad ) .
