Garth Brooksis thankful for his wife!
The country superstar, 61, got emotional as he spoke about his wifeTrisha Yearwoodwhile appearing onThe Kelly Clarkson ShowMonday.
“Well, we’ll talk about how great of a singer she is,” he added with a laugh as he continued topraise his other half. “That’s probably five and six on her list of top 10 things to do.”

“When it comes to the future, I think what you’re just grateful for is just one more day, right? Of getting to do this,” Brooks told Clarkson, 41.
“So I think that’s it," he shared, getting teary-eyed. “What I’d love to say is the day I take my last breath on this planet, I’d love for my three girls to be around me and I’d love for the queen to be around me.”
Brooksis dad to daughtersTaylor, 31, August, 29, and Allie, 27, whom he shares with ex-wife Sandy Mahl. (The two college sweethearts married in 1986 and separated in 1999, before finalizing their divorce in 2001.)
The father of three added in his interview with Clarkson, “But as far as Miss Yearwood … you know, I’ve said this before, I found her in the past life, I’ll find her in the next.”

“She makes it fun. She makes it really fun,” Brooks said.
“It is amazing though. It’s such a beautiful love between the two of you, it is,” Clarkson told him. “And you’re tearing up and you’re making me tear up, and my makeup artist is gonna kill me … ”
“I’m not tearing up!” insisted Brooks, who still appeared teary-eyed and let out a sniffle.
“Yeah, you are! I love it,” Clarkson teased.
Brooks and Yearwood met in 1987 as young artists in a recording session in Nashville. The pair became best friends and collaborators for the next 13 years as they performed together, and were featured on each other’s albums before they eventuallymarried in December 2005.
Last month, the pair collaborated on another project for a charitable cause asthey hostedtheJimmy and Rosalynn Carter Work Project, where they built 27 affordable homes for single families in Charlotte, North Carolina.
