We heard about AT&T ’s Voicemail - to - textbook service back in December , but now it ’s being shove down our throat again with email admonisher aplenty . Why do n’t we care about the $ 10 / month religious service ? Because we can get something better . For free .
Google Voiceand its transcribe world power were our first sentiment , but it ’s not the only alternative . Ribbit Mobileoffers some comme il faut transcriptions and has a pretty solid iPhone app available and as doesYouMail .

Lifehacker actually made it a point topit some of these transcription servicesagainst each other a long time ago , but I ’m sure that both quality and price have changed since then . Either way , these religious service remain barren — or at least cheap than AT&T ’s military service — and have been around long enough to work out some kinks . So check them out and spend the ten bucks you ’ll save each calendar month on ice cream or something .
