Halo : Nightfall introduces a pivotal newfangled character , Jameson Locke , a fabled manhunter and agent with the Office of Naval Intelligence ( ONI ) , Earth ’s most hefty and secretive military outgrowth . When he and his team are caught in a frightening biological fire , they unravel a plot that draws them to an ancient , hellish artifact , where they will be force to fight for their survival , call into question everything , and ultimately choose between their loyalties and their lives .
play by The Good Wife ’s Mike Colter , Locke will be a playable theatrical role in the upcoming plot Halo 5 : Guardians , so it ’s probably good to assume he survive the film . But Nightfall ’s production values still appear moderately darned commodity , Colter ’s a reasonably unsaved fine actor , and by all odds it feel like Halo , so Halo fans and scifi rooter alike should definitely check it out when its liberate on Xbox on November 11th .
