All of these pieces of the story feature film long ton of Weir ’s signature , highly clear and wildly elaborated science jargon which is absolutely fascinating even if you ca n’t make heads or tails of it . The way he writes about something so perfectly complex in a way that you understand just enough , and are both interested and engaged with it , is a genuine natural endowment . When that ’s apply to the obviously very interesting idea of first touch with an exotic metal money , it gets exponentially better .

Project Hail Mary find like it ’s stuck in home for retentive , long stretch of clip but that ’s fine because the delight in discovering truths about different alien coinage , and conversely the playfulness in alien discovering things about humans , are endlessly captivating .
