Remember the name Matthew Stromberg , because this professor from the Savannah College of Art and Design could be the Michelangelo of fortification ( if he manages to quell in one piece ) . Instead of traditional medium , Stromberg prefers volatile material to create his artwork . By damaging “ canvass ” like metal , forest and composition in a semi - controlled way using explosive material , he manages to create works of art that have a half-baked Jackson Pollock eccentric of energy . The whole thing is probably just an exculpation for some guy to blow things up with impunity - but I definitely have to hand it to him . It is a smart as a whip idea .
