Elizabeth Banks is set to star in McG ’s live - action Tinkerbell pic , Tink . Quick , everyone shout , “ There ’s No Such Things As Fairies ! ” , and perhaps this pixie movie will die off .
No doubt this had something to do with those lineal - to - DVD CG animated movies Disney put out , featuring “ uncanny vale ” versions of Tink and her fairy CG dead - face booster . The only hint about the story of this plastic film , which McG is producing , are that it ’s base around Tink ’s mischievous nature .
No offense to Banks , we think she ’s adorable . But we always had our hearts set on a Tina Fey tinkerbell after Disney give up their renown liv- action fairy narrative ads . Ah well .
