DC MechDoes What It Sounds Like, Gives the Justice League Big-Ass Robots

DC Comics lie with itself some silly genre AUs . If late stories like “ Batman , but death metal ” or the upcoming “ Justice League , but dinosaurs ” pitch did n’t sound rush ass enough for you , then maybe this will : DC Mech , a miniseries that can well be described as “ Get in the mech , Justice League . ”

Revealed at the ComicsPro retailer pattern , DC Mech is an upcoming miniseries coiffe in a creation where Darkseid and his forces from Apokolips are place to invade Earth . As the tagline says , “ Justice get an upgrade , ” and the only way to stop the intrusion is for earth ’s mighty sub to get their Pacific Rim on . author Kenny Porter ( Superman : Man of Tomorrow ) and creative person Baldemar Rivas ( Unearth , Robins ) will convey the story to living , with Porter admitting straight up that he write this story because he is a monolithic grind , peculiarly for mech stories like Evangelion and Robotech . “ I grew up reading DC Comics and watch any anime that I could get my paw on that feature giant golem , ” said Porter toIGN . “ I want to publish a level that got both the DC fan and the mecha fan in me aroused , and I assure you , I blend all out with both aspects . ”

Porter and editor program Dave Wieglosz approached Rivas , and the artist right away require to ensure the mech innovation would be as close to the genre as potential .
