Hollywood want to remake the original Buffy The Vampire Slayer motion picture — but darker , with all new characters , and ( most importantly ) without Joss Whedon . Do they have intercourse who they ’re mess up with ?

Roy Lee and Doug Davison of Vertigo Entertainment are working with original moving-picture show director Fran Rubel Kuzui and her husband , Kaz Kuzui , on what is being labeled a remaking or relaunch , but not a sequel or prequel .
This film would have no ties to the TV series , and persona like Angel , Xander , Willow or Spike would not come out . Rumors are the re - Almighty are looking for a darker alternate storyline , with a new killer in today ’s times . Whedon , the writer of the original Buffy picture and eventual manufacturer , writer , conductor and caretaker of the intact Buffy franchise , has n’t even been approached about the remake . Says THR : “ The producers do not prevail out Whedon ’s involvement but have not yet progress to out to him . ” Well they ’d comfortably get him on circuit board , unless they need to make a movie that will unleash the deepest , most horrible backlash of all time .
With all the vampire media ballyhoo today , it ’s no wonder they want to hit while the staking is spicy , but to make over Buffy , without Whedon ? That just seems wrong , and fairly darn stupid . Granted , Kuzui was the executive manufacturer of the Buffy TV series and Angel gyrate off , but it was always Whedon ’s baby . To make it without his amour seems to be missing the point as to why people screw this franchise . It ’s all Whedon — his characters , voice , dialogue , story telling , queerness — the tilt goes on .

Kuzui Enterprises possess the rights to the Buffy , handwriting which she develop and got the financial backing for , from the then preceding writer of Roseanne Whedon , so this could all really happen , with or without him .
