The iPad complaint wasfiled last Fridayin California and seeks class - action condition and unspecified damages , claiming that the equipment “ overheats so speedily under common weather condition . ”
The Japan parliamentary law , issue by the Ministry of Economy , Trade and Industry , mandates that Apple explain the cause of various overheating incident that have occurred there over the last several yr . According to ministry official Seiji Shimagami :
“ We ’ve been asking they adumbrate the preventive actions that have been taken for two years , but we call into question whether enough has been done so we took official activeness . ”
The written report is due by August 4th . If Apple fails to respond , they could face a mulct .
