The annual contender is hosted by theWorld Photography Organisation , and photographer from 166 countries submitted nearly 140,000 image , the high identification number of entries in the awards ’ seven year story .
The winners of the Open and Youth categories will be announced on 18 March . Professional category winner and the desired L’Iris D’Or/ Sony World Photography AwardsPhotographer of the Year title will be annunciate at a jamboree ceremonial occasion in London on 30 April .
