My dog , Bailey , is a senior citizen at years 13 and while he ca n’t boost as much as he use too , I still prove to take him out a least once a week for a savourless hike . While Bailey is 13 years one-time , he still has the mind of a pup that loves to bolt when he ’s off threesome and he took off down the stream curtly after this exposure was taken . I take my hotdog to a dog piddle park jolly often , ordinarily fetch the dslr with me . capture this perfect minute yesterday while we were there of my whelp on the right field with her best friend , my roommate dog . They fight pretty hard at the park so its always nice to see them take a good luck and give each other some love . I know its not the sharp picture out there , but I feel like their facial expressions make up for its technical defect . D810 with an 80 - 200 AF - D f2.8 @200 millimeter preferences were 1/2500 @f7.1 with an ISO of 2500 . Minimal situation processing in Lightroom 6.1

Slightly overweight and wind owner and dog ( Nene — mini pinscher - dashund mixing ) taking a break after walking down from the drop over San Clemente , CA . Taken with inventory configurations on iPhone 6 , nothing strange other than took a surfer ’s promontory out of the backdrop to keep from need their polarity off . We love our black dog and have effect photographing her , but this one with ocean in the background issue forth out great .

I have been work at Harvard Medical School for about 1.5 days but take the wagon train to shape every day . The MBTA does not let pawl or bikes on the train during peak hour so Pippin has not come to work with me . My coworkers had heard me blab about Pippin but never encounter him . ( He is the skilful dog in the world ) I had the Clarence Day off and drove my boy to a socio-economic class nearby . Since I was in the area , I brought Pippin and we went to see visit my coworkers . Since I was there I thought I would take a picture of Pippin with Gordon Hall in the background . So my firedog choke to Harvard .

I was fortuitously babysitting Roxy , my neighbor ’ older click when this competition was announced . She ’s 15 eld old . She still enjoy laying out in the fond sunlight every dawn , but all of us know that this is the last season of her life .
I did n’t require to take this shot outdoors ; I wanted to bewitch what the end of her life will be . She wo n’t be put to sleep … She just wo n’t wake up one morning . She ’ll be cold .
The shot was taken with my Canon 6D in aperture priority mode . I used a rented Canon 70 - 200 f/2.8L IS II at it ’s widest aperture . After I set up an LED flashlight to Roxy ’s right , I made certain to focus on her nearest optic and waited for her to show just how commonplace she was .

This portrait shows my detent Denali in her favourite environment and reflects her solitary nature . Stillness is her way of showing she is relaxed and content . farsighted time reader here – first photo competition submission . This is centime , my 15 hebdomad chocolate lab . She just derive out of the pool for the first time just before this stroke , hence the unbrushed hair on her back . To warm up she ran around the backyard chasing after this toy which got all of us a little blown . I have a bunch of action shots that were taken before this but I think that this one was my favorite .
Canon 6D – 70 - 200 2.8L IS – Aperture Priority Mode @F5 for the shallow depth of field – Iso 400 – 1/500th . Both of us were on the earth to get the dog ’s point of view . It ’s important to film your subjects from their point of view and not yours . Being 6’2 means that my point in time of vista tends to be above most of my subjects . It was a erudition process to find that by fetch down to your subject ’s size you will end up with better photos .

Its summertime in Chicago and this weekend it finally feel like it . I sleep with dogs so this challenge was great . I headed to the dog beach on the north side and bug out snapping out . arrest this barb of Axle chasing down a menacing lawn tennis ball that kept getting out of his proprietor ’s hands . I did a little processing in Lightroom , relegate the picture a moment , brought down the shadows to see the dogs full verbal expression , and a svelte crop to frame the mental picture a fiddling good .
