Houston Police Department Missing Persons Unit
The search continues for a woman who went missing in Texas after taking her dog out for a walk nearly two weeks ago.
The non-profit search organization said Christina left her residence “to take her dog for a walk,” but never returned.
The mixed-breed canine, whose name is Max, was found on Friday more than seven miles from Christina’s home, according to Texas EquuSearch.
“She always has Max with her,” said Emmanuel Johnson, Christina’s father, according toCBS affiliate KHOU. “The fact we find Max but not her is very alarming.”

“She usually comes home before the evening,” he said.

“He’s in a rough condition right now,” the father said. “He’s not acting normal.”
Christina was last seen “carrying a gray backpack” and wearing a black hoodie, blue jean shorts, pink socks, and Crocs of an unknown color, according to Texas EquuSearch.
